They lived in the now Aiken County area. In those days it was Barnwell or Lexington District.

Faye, The Aiken Co formation in 1870 came primarily from Edgefield Co, and Barnwell Co. There were small parts of Lexington and Orangeburg Co. land incorporated into Aiken Co, as well. But never forget to check on Edgefield Co. There are many Youngblood lines from that area. However, I don't recognize the Whitney name. Lots of Whatleys that were there and if I am remembering correctly married into the Youngbloods.
