    3. This one has Saluda Co. connections in the obit and I do have a couple of early Grices in my file. I am not researching them, but passing this on to others who might find this of some use. Billie Jones Camden, SC tjones@camden.net LEROY GRICE (picture) Columbia -- Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Grice, 80 of Columbia will be held at 2 pm Sunday, June 26, 2005 in the Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Cuttino and Rev. Michael Smathers officiating. Interment with Masonic rites and military honors will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday School Class and Brotherhood Class of Eason Memorial Baptist Church, Lower Richland Masonic Lodge #406F&AM, Col. Stan Wapinski and Richard Wiggins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 7 pm. Memorials may be made to the Eason Memorial Baptist Church Cem. Fence Fund Eastover, SC 29044. Mr. Grice died Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center following an extended illness. BORN IN MONETTA, SC he was the son of the late NOAH BRICE AND OLA GRICE. He retired from Ft. Jackson as Supervisor of Automotive Maintenance. He was a veteran of WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Grice was a member of Eason Memorial Baptist Church and the Mens Sunday School class of the church, a lifetime member of Lower Richland Masonic Lodge #406F&AM, 32 (degree) Master Mason, Scottish Rites and the Jamil Temple. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Hinson Grice of Columbia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley "Stan" and Pat Grice of Lexington and Russell "Rusty" and Debbie Grice of Eastover; two grandchildren, Brian Grice of West Columbia and Gina Grice of Lexington; a great-grandson Davey Grice of West Columbia; two sisters, Mary Harris of Leesville, SC and Betty Paul of Gadsden, SC; a brother, K. D. Grice of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers. Wilbur and George Grice and a sister, Virginia Bramlett. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Lower Richland Dialysis for the love and care shown.
