I found Jessie in the SCDI so its just a matter of getting a copy of his death certificate from Columbia. He was born in 1889 and I find nothing on the 1890 census. In 1900 he is age 11 living with family in Gregg, SC, listed as a nephew to the head of household. Also in this census is his father in the same household, along with brother John Furman Foster (aka: Furman John Roberts or Robertson Foster), and sister Alice. One other brother is Sumpter Daniel Foster. Sumpter was born in 1882 but I don't find him in any documents until 1910. Sumpter owned a Barber Shop at Schultz Hill, SC (near Augusta, GA/North Augusta, SC). Jessie is also listed as a barber. When I can get up to Aiken County again I hope to find an obituary for him.
