Was wondering if Cherry L. Turner who married Mahlon Carson Wright in Edgefield County, SC on 20 Dec 1860, his second wife, would have a connection to this Turern family listed below. She was the daughter of William Aruist "Harvest" Turener and wife, Asselia. Her sister, Lucinda E. Turner married William H. Wright, Sr. on 27 Dec 1957 in Edgefield Co, SC by the same minister, Rev. J. P. Brodie. Cherry Wright had three children by Mahlon Wright - Lillie P. (1862), Savannah (1864), and Elizabeth Wright (1865). I would appreciate hearing from anyone on this relationship. Mahlon Wright was my wife's great-grandfather. They are buried at Clearwater Baptist Church Cemetery in Aiken Co. Thanks. S.
