Worked a bit on the Rhoden folks today in census. Looked up some of the family of Benjamin Rhoden and Eliza Jane Burnett, son of Elijah Russell Rhoden & Eliza Busbee. Giddy Swamp township is the one between Tabernacle township and Lexington co, so the family lived in Eastern Edgefield until some of them moved to Langley township, probably to work in the mills, altho the 1910 census records do not show them working in Cotton mill. Maybe Oscar, because I forgot to get his occupation. *CENSUS: 1910 Bath, Langley Township, Aiken Co, SC, p. 211, hh# W. M. B. Didn't go to other counties to look for John, or James. The list I got from 1910 Aiken did not look like it contained them. Now that I know to look for different townships, I may try again later. For members of the Lists, HC Ouzts and I have been working on the Rhodens for this past week or so exchanging data. Would welcome posts of various Rhoden families to the list to help connect them.
