Perry named in the 1900 Batesburg township, Denmark, Bamburg Co. census p. 58A with widowed father, George Pope Perry, widower of Maggie Belle Kisler. 1910 - No George in the 1910 Edgefield Co, census, Johnston, SC p. 73, hh #10-/119 but there is a Franklin b. ca 1896. 1920 - There is a Franklin age b. 8/1895 in the 1920 Edgefield Co, SC, p. 80B, Johnston township, hh# 60/63 (201 Calhoun St.) 1933 - A son, G. F. Perry of Johnston is named in the obit of George Pope Perry, d. March 1933. I am ASSUMING they are the same person. Johnston, SC, April 1 -- Funeral Services for G. P. Perry, age 76, were conducted from the home by his pastor the Rev. J. H. Kohler, interment being in Mt. Olive Cem, Johnston. He had been ill for two years. Perry had been a resident of Johnston for over 30 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ora Cornelia Crouch Perry and the following children: Mrs. W. G.
