May 23, 1835 is the daughter of Fanny - all in the Aiken County / Barnwell area. Her husband John Stone died Mar 09, 1908. Evelyne who died Apr 08, 1950 was over 100 and she lived with her son Joe who died Sep 02, 1976. It is unknown where their family photos went after Joe died. Evelyne seems to have had 11 children: Luvennah Willie Epsie Rebecca Manley Daniel Basil or Bosie Maggie Jacob Noah Joseph I am descended from Manley Stone. At one time there was a photo of John Stone and wife Evelyne together and it was sent off to be copied. Somehow in the process, the original was lost and the very poor pastel copy remains. I would dearly love to locate the original. I have some photos of Manley's descendants and am willing to share. Also have photos of Evelyne Mundy - I've shown one of them. Cynthia

I have been working on Gunters in the area for about 25 years and have accounted for most of them. It is most likely that he was a grandson of Joshua Gunter, the ancestor of virtually all the Gunters who lived from Columbia to Augusta before 1900. 2. Vivian, I saw your post to Margie. I wonder if you would mind checking for Dinkins in the Aiken transcription of Old Langley Cemetery?
