    3. In Barbara Langdon's "South Carolina Marriages Implied in South Carolina equity reports" (vol. 1), she uses as one of her sources the above book by David James McCord, copyright 1917 (although when I searched I found much earlier publication dates). Does anyone have access to this book? I found where it can be accessed digitally through libraries who have a subscription to LLMC (Law Library Microfilm Consortium). Unfortunately I don't belong to any of the subscribing libraries. I am interested in Vol. 2 of McCord's book, pages 60-72. Thanks for any suggestions on where to find (I placed request through my local library's ILL, but I am not holding my breath. Melissa Birmingham, AL --------------------------------- Yahoo! Few would have the fortitude. I just returned from two weeks in Aiken and probably scanned 300 images at the homes of relatives I didn't even know I had. Also photographed about 100 graves - all Bonnett, Goss, Pemberton, Stone, Howell, Redd and Scott. There's so much more I could have done, but time was limited. My gravestone photos are all from Windsor 1st Baptist, Spring Branch Baptist, old Bonnett Farm property (two locations), Goss Family Cemetery. We tried to find the old Pemberton cemetery, but with no luck, but we haven't given up. There's a lot of land clearning going on in that area and we're concerned the graves may have been desecrated. Like you, I will post my images on FindaGrave.com. I found numerous relatives and a couple of gravestone photos there.

Her first husband was John Henry Turner. John Henry Turner was Ben G. Turners father. He died April 16, 1893 at the age of 29. He is buried in the Glover Cemetery beside Alice McDoniel. After John died she married Riley O. Johnson, Shortly after marrying Mr. Johnson she became ill. Later it was discovered that Mr. Johnson was poisoning her.
