    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZcB.2ACE/416.1.1 Message Board Post: Melissa, According to SSDI, Raymond was born Sep 22 1893 and died Sep 1965. Aiken County cemetery records are more exact and say he died Sept 5, 1965. On the 1930 census Raymond and "Mabel" are shown as having son named Clarence age 4 years and 4 mos. - census was taken Apr 21, 1930. The census also shows that he is 30 and she is 22 and that they married when he was 23 and she was 15. Also living with them is John Chapman, listed as father. One would assume Raymond's father since the last names are the same. Lastly there is a Thelma Bonnet, age 8, listed as sister. I would assume this is the sister of Maybell. Aiken County cemetery records show Maybell b. 17 Jul 1908 and d. 01 Feb 1983 and is buried at First Baptist Church of Montmorenci Cemetery along with Raymond. Raymond is also shown to be a WW I veteran. Cynthia

    1. Re: [SCAIKEN] 1937 Mrs. J. H. Bridges Obituary
    2. Lee and Billie Jones
    3. Thank you for posting this obituary. I have Emma Rushton in my files twice, once as the wife of John Hamilton Bridges and another Emma as the daughter of John Rushton md. Lucinda from the 1870 Census records below: CENSUS: 1870 Edgefield Dist, SC, electronic, no page #. John Rushton, head, 65, M W SC Lucinda Rushton, 45 F W SC Clarissa Rushton, 21 F W SC Elizabeth Rushton, 18 F W SC Joseph Rushton, 16 F W SC Walton Rushton, 14 M W SC Emma Rushton, 12 F W SC James Rushton, 10 M W SC Birthdates are a little off, but not unusual, so I was wondering if the two Emmas are the same. There is no sister Rachel in the info. but it might be a middle name for Clarissa. The Elizabeth could be Lizzie, and W. R. could be Walter?? Can you help provide information that will help me to decide whether to merge the two Emmas or not? I am also interested in the Bledsoe spouse of Irene, and the daughter who married Caleb Waits. The following Death cert. seems to match your obit: 1937 - Death Cert. #17664, Saluda Co, SC Mrs. E. A. Bridges Female, White, married to J. H.
