Married Isabella Black (who was born 1787 or '90 also in Abbeville and died 1890 in Ducktown, TN). Isabella is often listed as Abby Black or Abby Isabella Black but Isabella is a family name. Jesse and Isabella's children include Zilpha, Rosetta, Javan, A.B., and Jehu (or Jesse). Javan, born 1834 in GA and died 1920 in Murray Co., GA married Mallissa Mills (born 1842 in GA). Need parents for Jesse George...may be a Cherokee Indian connection, but this has not been confirmed. Have tentative parents for Isabella--Mary Caldwell and Robert Black--would like to confirm.
