Joseph & family moved to Forsyth Co., Ga.] - have you ever found your parents of Joseph Foster? I think they are probably Robert Foster who died 1802 in Abbeville Dist, SC and Hannah Sinclair. Their children gleaned from his estate records: Samuel - probably from a first marriage of Robert's A daughter married to David Cochran Hannah married to Robert Hearst Jean married to Thomas Mealey Elijah Mary B. married to Andrew Crawford Robert, Jr. married to Martha Weed Crawford Benjamin Joseph Margaret William As you can see, many of the names are repeated in your line. There is a Joseph on the 1820 Abbeville Dist, SC census who fits yours. He is age 16 to under 26, so born 1795 to 1804, and is 4 houses from widow Hannah Foster with other Fosters who I believe to be her children in between. Do you think this fits?
