    1. [Abbeville] Re: Ivey Taylor on 1830 Abbeville Census
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: TAYLOR Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GeB.2ACI/185.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: The most exciting thing about your note was the fact that you descend from Harriet. I haven't been able to find out anything on her. If you don't mind, please send me what you hold on who she married, and her children. I don't plot entire distaff lineages, but do list marriages, children and the marriages of the children, whenever I can get them. Thanks! You made my day. Note below that there are a few discrepancies in data. I don't claim to be right, but just to note that the children listed on the 1850 census indicate that the last three of Richard Ivey's children had to be born after that census. I think the 1860 census bears that out. Below is the information I hold on Richard Ivey and Thomas. I do have more on Thomas' children, but do not add it here. I have quite a lot of information on the line upstream of Richard Ivey, if you want it. I don't recall if I already sent it to you or not. Thanks for answering. It helps a lot when people are willing to dig into their past. Steve Grand Bay -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Ivey, b. 1799, Edgefield Co.
