Norris formerly Margaret A. L. Pursley of the Co. of Onachita, State of Arkansas, appointed Jas. Norris of same Co., for her as heir of est. of Hiram Pursley, Jan. 3, 1856. Sett. of Hiram Pursley est. made Jan. 6, 1842. Wife of James Norris. Present: Jas. Pursley admnr., Andw. Gillespie in right of his wife Jenny, David, Betsey, Mary Pursley, Mrs. Margaret Pursley mother of decd. Sett. of est. as far as regards the int. therein of the family of David Pursley decd. David Pursley survived Hiram and died leaving a wid. and 9 chn. This is the only Pursley that I found in that book... Hope this helps...
