The Dunlaps and Pettigrews (in-laws) moved to Greene County AL and then to Chickasaw Co., MS and stopped in Texas about 1860. I know there were other Dunlap families. I don't even know when mine came over. If they were born here or not. James born December 6, 1759 is from his tombstone. There might be a connection to a David Dunlap from County Cork but that doesn't look good. What do you know about your family? There didn't used to be many Dunlaps and now that I research them, there are so many. Kay
