Mary, in volume 04 #90 you told Cheryl you would be glad to do a look up for her. I am hoping you will allow me to impose on you to do a look up for me. My illusive ancestor is Thomas Donaldson of Abbeville. He was there 24 April 1776 when he enlisted in the Rev. War, he was there when he died in 1811, and that is just about all I know about him. He died intestate so I know the names of his children. His son-in-law was Joseph Rutledge, and his father John enlisted also on 24 April 1776. And that is all I know of him. Imagine my horror when I discovered the deeds had burned so that I could not learn where either of these men lived. I will appreciate any help you can give me, and any suggestions you might have.
