I know that Martha (Mattie) Clinkscales married Washington L. Prince. I believe on 10/18/1852. They are buried in Williamston Cem. in Anderson Co. I thought there was another one too, but I guess I was wrong.. However, they are mentioned in a few of the Prince wills also.. In 1840 they are living next to my Hudson Prince and Edward Prince.. As for the Wakefield name.... I haven't a clue where they tie into the Prince line... I am just assuming that it was a family name given to Hudson. I would love to see a copy of that book. Will have to check into getting it on interlibrary loan or something... Maybe the FHL has it. Where did you find it???
