I am positive the family lived in the Abbeville area but can't find J.A. listed as "J.A." This may be a family name for a John, James or Joseph. He should show up in the 1860 census in that area aged about 10 years and not much older because I don't find him in any of the confederate soldier listings. He had to be at least 8 to 10 years old in 1960 if George was born in 1871. I am doing census searches now. Thank you for the info. Fred
