I am descended from Robert Richey and Rebecca Belton through their son William, born in South Carolina 1 Feb 1796. I am looking for parents and siblings of Robert and Rebecca. A note from the files of Leonardo Andrea says "William Richey had a son, Robert Ritchey b. 1775 married Rebecca Belton (Dtr. William Belton) of Laurens and they had a son, William Richey b. 1796 m. 1820 to Margaret Adair b. 1808 in Charleston and said to have been the daughter of Thomas Adair b. 1771 and his wife, Margaret Adair. Robert Ritchey resided at Newberry County near Laurens line." Do you have any information on this William or any William Richeys from about this time? I would appreciate any help.
