Brazeel. This is the spelling used by my family. This may help in your search also. The Blount County records has alot of spelling for this name. We have even found our grandfather's deeds under Brazeal. Some of my family are still in Blount County. When we have our Family Reunion in the spring, we are going to compare information. If you run across a David Harold with a brother named Zuma and sisters named Martha & Jane, my cousin is looking for this branch. (this could be in the Jefferson Co records because David Harold went to school in Bessemer). I'm not sure when Blount County was divided and part of it became Jefferson Co. I'm still searching in SC and in Jefferson County, Alabama also. Darlene
