My ggreatgrandmother Lucretia Jane Brasseale said she was born in Jefferson Co but she was raised on Sand Mountian in Blount Co Al. I have looked at some of the old records and it is difficult where the land is partially in both counties. I hope we will be able to work together on finding their parents. Thanks for the information and I glad a family member is working on the genealogy of Brazile (Braseale) Brazile was the spelling on their marriage licenses. It is really difficult with so many different spellings of the surname. Joan Stone
