I appoint Samuel MAYS & my friend, Elisha BROOKS as executors & my wife as executrix so long as she is my widow. In case of her marriage she nor her husband to have anything to do with my estate except what was loaned to her. Wit: Samuel MAYS, Hazel CULBRESH (CULBREATH?) & William MAYS. Signed: Dannite HILL. 7 August 1807 & qualified Samuel MAYS & Elisha BROOKS as executors, 27 Oct 1807, & qualified Martha HILL as executrix. Recorded 17 May 1808. P. 242. 12 April 1805." *Note: "Dorcus/Dorcas" is a name plentiful in the HILL family of Fairfield. My line of HILLS has Dorcas MOBLEY. HILLS & MOBLEYS so intermarried that my direct line is five generations of ONLY these two names.
