David, My experience is that other SC-Lists become active while waiting for one county list. Are you on other SC Lists? I saw David CHRISTOPHER in a deed book of Lunenburg County, 1761. he is in land transactions, but what interested me was how close he lived to the STOKES family. STOKES intermarried with POOL and PETTYPOOL, so still don't know which one of them Mitchell POOL belongs to; perhaps PETTYPOOL. Audrey, Other list, hmm, hadn't thought of that. I used to be on the Ponder-l, I maintain the Burbage-l, Christopher-l, and SCAbbeville-l. Maybe I should get on other boards and see if maybe I can dig up some more data. I sometimes post on the Davis-l using the gateway, on the Ponder research, I was never able to get very much, but then that goes back to Abbeville, my grandmother was a Ponder from Abbeville, but I never had any luck tracing her family.
