His son Frank Jr. was the infomat. Anyway, Frank Vance would be my great grandfather, who according to Abbeville 1880 census he was the husband of Sophia, father of Allen Vance, Frank Vance, Mary Vance. Mary Vance born about 1877 was my grandmother. She married a Joe Evans also of Abbeville, he was born about 1867. They had three children: John Eugene, Ike, and Jessie. John was my father, born about 1896. Okay, now what I am looking for are the descendants mostly of the Vances of Abbeville. Thanks.
