Have you contacted the Presbyterian church or the school where he was employed. They might have some history and a biography of him. I have found some information about one of my ancestors in a book that was written on the history of a county (in GA). They were discussing the development of the schools and poof, there was her name and a VERY brief bio, as being one of the first teachers in the county. My grandfather was born in Abbeville 1876, raised a Presbyterian, but became a Methodist minister. I found his bio in the North Georgia Conference archives.
