    3. I have searched by first name only because it's unique. I have searched last name only to see if it could have possibly been misspelled which does happen. Because his father was 71 in the 1850 census, it makes me wonder if he was sent away to have someone else raise him. But his mother was young enough to raise him. I know he went on to be a teacher and a reverend of a Presbyterian church. So I thought he might have gone off to get an education. This family did have money. Thanks for your time.
