Can someone help me with where a child could be at the age of 9? My ggg grandfather Arnoldus Miller, son of George and Eliza, born 1841 is not with his parents in the 1850 census. George and Eliza are in Abbeville, South Carolina, Savannah River Regiment area. Is there a school where boys were sent? I can't find him anywhere, and I know he's hiding somewhere.
