I would appreciate anything you have on Levi Banks b 1816, Margaret b 1802 (Mo or sister??) and especially Coleman Banks born 1847. Trying to solve an old family story that Coleman was the sole survivor of a wagon train attack and was taken in by the Banks family..the story is that his birth name was Gould or Gold but that he took the Banks family name in Abbeville. Coleman's son, John Wesley Banks ended up in Kentucky (Wolfe/Breathitt co.)..I am following the line for Wesley's son (John) Willard Banks. I don't know her birth year either. William was born in either 1830 or 1831 and died in 1911 so it would not be unusual for his wife to be born around 1847 (i.e. to be 16 or 17 years younger). In addition, I show a Lucy Ann Wilkinson, married to William Anderson's brother Andrew. I don't know if there is a connection between Emma Rebecca and Lucy Ann though. 1. [SCABBEVI] Jane & Mary Gray
    2. Jane Gillespie
    3. I am interested in some information on a Jane (c.1785- Apr 20 1807) & Mary Gray (Dec 20 1805-Apr 20 1807) that are buried at Lower Long Cane Presbyterian Church. Their combined tombstone appear to me to be the same style as my 6th great-grandfather Andrew McComb carves. It is said that Andrew carved the Long Cane Indian Massacre stone and the Gray stone appears similar to me in certain ways. I don't know the maiden name of Jane Gray or what Gray she married. The birthdate of baby Mary Gray was calculated using a site on the web using the death date on the gravestone. The gravestone reads: On tombstone is written: Life's But A Span In Memory of Mrs. Jane Gray who departed this life April 20 1807 aged 22 years also her daughter Mary aged 1 year & 4 Months. I don't know of any kinship among the Grays & McComb but would be interested in information on this Gray family. Thanks!!
