Stephen Leverett was born 1765 in Lunenburg County,Virginia. He married Margaret Atkinson b 1767 in Amelia County Virginia. He died 1853 in Anderson, South Carolina. Margaret died in 1848 in Anderson South Carolina. Tombstones located the Old Leverette Cemetery in Iva, Anderson County, SC, is source of information.
