Looking for information on William McGill who died Oct. 13, 1838 in Abbeville County, SC in the 76th year of his age. His headstone states that he came to this county in 1788. His wife is Agness S. McClaine. She died Feb. 26, 1831 in the 78th year of her age. She was from a "respectable family" in NC. All this information is found on their tombstones. They are buried in the Long Cane Cemetery, outside Abbeville, SC. Any help would be appreciated. A. D. Smith
