I feel these are old historical books and you can only obtain them, many times, through large libraries or ones that are within the Old 96 locality, that folks all over the USA cannot go out and purchase these old books, and many times they are out of print. I have several books that have been reprinted several times over the past 100 yrs. If this can help someone in areas where they have only small libraries and do not have many books on SC (such as folks in Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, etc), I would be happy to look up something for them. Over the years, many, many folks have helped me with giving me information that came out of our of print books, or rare books that I feel a bit obligated to do the same. Since, no copyright clause is written in this 90 year old history book, I will continue until someone who has a family or legal interest this books request that I stop doing lookups. R. W. Simpson, author, if he were still alive, would not mind each of us helping another in genealogy. He died in 1912. This book was published in 1913, and I cannot find a copyright statement in this book. Perhaps, the old gentleman wanted everyone to know about his work on compiling the History of Old Pendleton District. Thanks for your concern. Betty --part1_1a0.ba8ee3f.2b01dc0d_boundary--
