Col. John A. Cunningham was a resident of Abbeville District, SC in 1776 where he enlisted in the Continental Army. He was in the Battles of Cowpens, SC, Kettle Creek, GA & King's Mtn., SC. He married Nancy Ann Davis, (the daughter of Absolom Davis) and they lived in Elbert Co., GA after the Revolutionary War, where he served in various capacities as a Civil servant for Elbert Co., GA. I need the names of his parents. Does anyone have any suggestions or connections? Thanks for any help. Frances Hall
