Floyd, No Floyd are found in this book. There are a few mentions of FORDS, but not= =20 the given names you mention. On pg. 13 of History of Pendleton District, it states the following: "By the Act of 1791, Vol. 7, p. 262, En Andrew Pickens, Col. Robert=20 Anderson, Capt. Robert Maxwell, John Bowen, James Harrison, Maj. JOHN FORD=20 and John Hallum were appointed to purchase land and superintend the building= =20 of a court house and jail for the district of Washington. Washington=20 District was composed of the counties of Pendleton and Greenville. The cour= t=20 house was located at Pickensville, near the present Town of Easley." Also on page 198, under the genealogy of the Martin family, two FORDS=20 intermarried with the Martins: William FORD married Mary Martin and Stephen=20 Martin married SOPHRONY FORD. In book "1800 Census of Pendleton District, SC" there were mention of=20 Alexander, Elisha and William FLOYD on census rolls. They were living in=20 Spartanburg Co., SC and refers to a Deed - James Hendrix --Alexander FLOYD,=20 dated 1 Feb 1797." I understand that some of Spartanburgh Co. court documents could be in other= =20 areas, i,e., Greenville or North Carolina Courthouses. This may not be of any help, but I wrote what was in the books I have. Betty --part1_cf.1feb2d5a.2b02c650_boundary--
