In regard to Charles Blakely's post about his family leaving for TN & AL about 1810. That is about the same time my family migrated. I have also seen several families that traveled about the same time and area. What was happening to bring about such relocation? Was there land allocated for Rev. war vets, or economic hardships I'm really curious? Any ideas? My quest is for Charles Whitten that ended up in Lauderdale County, AL & Wayne County TN. John L.
