    3. Lowell, While at the library today, I was looking through Vol I & II of 'A Collection of Upper South Carolina Genealogy and Family Records' by James E. Wooley. There was a short paragraph on Richard Cannon of Pendleton District. I believe it was in Abbeville, SC. Also, there were some short notes on some Harris families. I won't be back there for a couple weeks, but will take another look and let you know what I find. Please ask me about this in a couple weeks, so I will be reminded. Thanks. They also ended up in Paulding County, GA. I have seen mention of a Richard Cannon as Jane's father, but so far I have not been able to find out anything about him. At least one researcher says that Charles Harris's parents were William Harris, Jr., and Frances Rogers/Rodgers, but they remain a mystery to me as well. > > Any information at all about these four elusive ancestors would be most appreciated. > > Lowell
