I am searching for the parents of Robert Thompson. His wife is Rhoda Ann Grubbs both from SC. I have reason to believe Roberts father is Herod Thompson, wife Sary (possibly a nickname). I can place Herod in Edgefield in 1790, 1800 and 1810 via census. Rhoda's father is William Grubbs. Robert and Rhoda eventually moved to Alabama along with William Grubbs. I have not been able to place Herod in Alabama.
