Congrats Eldon!! I know how happy you must be. Although cemetery survey books are good starting points, I would like to warn all not to depend on them 100% especially if you know your ancestors MUST be buried in the area. My ggg grandparents were not listed in a cemetery survey. Quite by accident I found them when I went to visit my ggggg grandfather's grave. He had a granite Rev War marker which was easy to read and survey. On the other hand, my ggg grandparents tomb rock was hand made and could only be read if the sun shined at a particular angle.
