As most of you know that I have been trying to find my GG Grandfather 's Parents Names for several years. I have tried several different approaches, I would like to try another one. If any one of the HODGES or HODGE researchers or any one, has a Male child being born in South Carolina in or about the year of 1806, probable in Lauren's Co., or Abbeville Co., <the Old 96th Dist.> South Carolina, could you please let me know. Maybe he changed his name for some reason, I did find a John Hodges in Lauren's Co., SC having a child being in the 1810 Census with a Male child the right age to be Leroy but have no one to help me with this, Is any one kin to this John with a Richard living next door. He states on all of his Census that : Leroy H. Hodges born in 1806 Lauren's Co., SC married to: Permelia / ?? sorry no last name she was born in SC in 1802. This according to the Census.
