I don't think they are connected to my line. Have you seen these books? This information comes from the booklet, "1800 Census of Pendleton District, SC" Compiled by William C. Stewart. Published by: National Genealogical Society It is copyrighted so I can't post specific info. to the list. I can tell you that this book contains extensive info. about the origins of the family you're researching. It will take you back a couple of generations beyond where you are now. There is another book about your family, "History of Pittsylvania Co. VA" by Maud Carter CLEMENT with more info. Probably you can get it thru. inter-lib. loan. Good luck with this.
