Coredelia, Thanks so much for posting your Stewart information. My connection is Rachel Stewart Hamilton Edens. She is my 4th great grandmother. She was married first to Jacob Hamilton and then to Jacob Edens. I am descended from James Edens, the son of Jacob and Rachel. As to who her parents or siblings, I am searching. As the children of Jacob Edens and Rachel Stewart were born in South Carolina, and other researchers have said that it was Pendleton District (my ancestor, James Edens, was born in 1796), I assume that Rachel's family must have lived there in the 1790's.
