I would appreciate any help to find information on Michael King Byrd, born in 1756 in Duplin County, NC and move to South Carolina in abt. 1770 with his mother and siblings. He was the son of John Byrd and Catherine King. John died in NC and Catherine remarried to a Moses Smith and moved to Fairfield Co. SC. Michael had property surveyed in Camden, Pendleton and Fairfield Counties (Dist.) in 1794 / 1798. I would appreciate any Help to locate this family, who Michael married and children.
