Will of John Gambrell: Wife, Barbara to hve slaves Jane and Frank. After her death to go to son, Frank Gambrell. Executors to have in trust a negro named Meshack and Eliza and all her children:Rachel, Grace, Miriah, and Jenny, and also Land on Broadmouth Creek joining Reuben Cox in trust for benefit of my son Henry Gambrell. At his death, divided between heirs of his body and Susannah, his wife. All my children: William Gambrell, Henry Gambrell, John Gambrell, James Gambrell, David Gambrell, David Gambrell, Mathea Gambrell, Elizabeth Cox, and Nancy Brazeal. Executors: sons, JOhn and Mathew and J. Hammond. Dated 10 March 1830 Signed by John Gambrell Witnesses: Samuel J.
