My grgrgrandfather was Josph Prevost. He died in Anderson in 23 October 1876, though lived in Charleston at least until 1850, since he is in Charleston in the 1850 census. His origins are quite vague. I would like to know the names of his parents and where he was born. I thought perhaps access to the obituary would help give a little more information. I am also looking for siblings of my grandfather Stephen Prevost, born in Anderson in 1877. He was the son of Sylvanus and Palmyra McCully Prevost. Does anyone have access to the 1880 census?
