There is a Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Piercetown between Anderson and Easley. IT is a very old church with many old graves. They are all listed in the Book of the Dead of Anderson County. There are about eight volumes to that book. IT is in the Greenville and Anderson county Libraries.

The Book of the Dead is one volume. There is an Anderson County Cemetery survey that consists of seven (maybe eight) volumes but it does not, to my knowledge have every cemetery. (Ruhamah Methodist Church cemetery, off US29 south of Anderson (overlooking Lake Hartwell), is not in any of the first seven volumes.) Elizabeth Whitaker evw2@bellsouth.net Easley, South Carolina
