    3. There was a James Cobb Sr., Thomas Cobb, And Delpha Cobb in Edgefield County in 1790. Don't know if this helps any of you. Found some of our people crossing the river back and forth from Washington, GA as it was a town sporting 31,500 residents in 1800.
