Thanks for the advice. For the record, Samuel Mayfield lived on his father's land in OPD until 1825 when he migrated to Tuscaloosa MS where his brothers had settled. Sarah may have married in MS but I have had no luck in finding the record. Her husband, Berryman McDaniel, family and neighbors moved to Saline,AR territory in 1840 when the recession of 1835 bankrupted many farmers. (Caused by Andrew Jackson's war with the Nat'l Bank) So everyone moved regularly. Some of the Mayfields stayed in MS while others moved. Thanks forthe info.
