I keep hitting brick walls also in death records. I think so many we're just kept in family bibles. Also I do know my gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky and his wife Elizabeth Mark/Merck we're married in May of 1789 in charles town (Now Charleston). So many could have been married there also. Also worth a try.
