Sure would like to attend your January meeting but I am way down in south Texas. Could someone announce that I am very interested in Ambrose Ripley [1765-1854]. His obit states he came to Edgefield as a small boy, fought in the Rev. War and lived his whole life in Edgefield. I believe his father may have been John Ripley from Virginia. Thank you.
