    2. re: John CANNON. We do not have any documentation as to where he was in SC, except that an early 20th century researcher said that it was OPD without telling us where she got that info. John was in SC for the births of 4 kids circa 1795-1800, then removed to Caldwell Co., KY. We believe we have him early on in KY with a wife named Sarah, but that could be wife #2. His kids were Israel, Jemima, Naomi, and Perryman. Jemima and Perryman lived to the 1850 census and claimed SC as birthplace. Janice

    3. I have heard of that John, but have been unable to make a connection. I beleive I saw a book concerning that family, but do not have the name of it. Will keep your email address and if I run across it, will let you know.
