Not too much to ask for, right? Anyone that would like a copy of the map showing the Twenty-Three Mile Creek, as well as others in that area, email me. PLEASE put "WANT MAP" as the subject.
There is a map of Anderson County dated 1897 available from the Old Pendleton Genealogy Society that has a Twenty Three Mile Creek on it. The creek is located about 6 miles West of Anderson city in the direction of Fairplay. The Seneca River branches from the Savannah River, then Deep Creek branches from Seneca River, then Deep Creek branches into Twenty Three Mile and Twenty Six Mile Creeks. This map also has names of families where they lived, and names of churches, schools, etc. Harold King
