    3. I just usually want to know how folks are connected to the ones I know. There are so many Hartsfield connections to Mackelroy/McElroy/Muckleroy/McLeroy/various spellings. I think the closest connection to me is Godfrey Hartsfield b. 1763. He married Sarah Muckleroy, daughter of my ancestor, Avington Muckleroy. Avington's son, Isaac, is my line. There are a good many McElroy, etc. connections to Sims too. Is your Hawkins a South Carolina line? I have most of my Hartsfield information at my other residence. I research Hartsfield, Bentley, Daniel, & Castleberry there and Caddel/l, Looper, Tidmore, Hawkins & Kelly/Kelley primarily at this location. I have Hartsfield information in my database from various sources. My Mother researched that line very well, but that is not with me. She and her brother said through the Sims/Symes, etc spellings/ Horner line that our line went back to Alexander Popham and Stradling early 1500's of England. My Hartsfield line is: Jurian Hartsfield/Hartsfelder - Margaret (the immigrant) Godfrey Hartsfield - Katheryn Walker Andrew Hartsfield - Sarah "Sally" Sims (various spellings) Dr. Godfrey Hartsfield - Sallie Sims Warren Hartsfield - Elizabeth Holmes Benjamin Milner Hartsfield - Bethany Daniel Caroline P. Hartsfield - Dr. Josiah Worthy Anderson William Milner Anderson - Sinia Addie (Haney ?) Mann Troy Anderson - Jennie May Shears/Sherer Delma Fay Anderson - Jesse Carlton Caddel/l Beverley Caddel Ferrell (Me) What information are you interested in among these individuals. Shields are in my line connected to the Anderson's. Most of these were in GA (early 1800's), AL before coming to TX about 1870. Perhaps we should exchange info through e-mail since this is off topic for this forum.
